The Mac LC series began in October of 1990 and ran through December of 1992. The LC stood for “low cost”. All of the computers in this series were color capable, small in size and low in cost. The first year of sales pumped out 500,000 computers! Computers in this series included the Mac LC, LCII, LCIII/25, LCIII/33, LC475, LC520, LC550, LC575, LC580, LC630, LC630 DOS.
